Salient Software was actually called Nomad Software up until recently. I (Johan Johanson) created this site as a way of sharing my creations, most of the time free of charge.
Why free? I feel like giving something back to the freeware community. Plus, my satisfaction primarily comes out of number people enjoying my software! I leave it up to you to decide if the services provided are worth anything to you and if so, please show your gratitude by sending me an e-mail or maybe donating some money.
However as a freelance programmer I'm also for hire, accepting requests for specialized applications - these will not be made public and are solely sold to the requester as agreed upon.
